Inter-Faith Food Shuttle welcomes Jeff Freer as the newest member of their Board of Directors. Jeff is a Financial Analyst, working with the Accreditation Commission on Healthcare in Cary, NC. He brings to the Food Shuttle many years of financial and operational analysis experience, having worked with corporations, government agencies, manufacturing, and non-profit organizations.
Jeff is a familiar face within the Food Shuttle’s Board of Directors, having served on the Board’s Finance Committee since 2018. He has also worked with the Frankie Lemmon School and Development Center’s Finance Committee since 2014. Jeff has spent years participating in food drives, food distributions, and other volunteer activities focused on empowering communities in need.

He went on to say, “Jeff has been a contributing member of the Finance Committee for several years and he and his family are longtime volunteers of the Food Shuttle. Jeff is passionate about serving others and he brings a depth of knowledge as it relates to financial oversight that has already proven invaluable to the Food Shuttle.”
Jeff and his wife, Lisa, have lived in Cary for the last 16 years. They have two daughters and multiple Labrador Retrievers. Jeff has an MBA from California State University, San Marcos, and a BS in Finance from the University of Arizona.
Jeff is excited to be joining the Food Shuttle Board of Directors. He says, “The Food Shuttle does amazing work in several communities helping reduce food insecurity. No one should go hungry. With this position, I hope that I am able to bring even more to the table.”
