Agriculture

Spend time in the great outdoors and dig in to end hunger at our Food Shuttle Farm, Camden Street Learning Garden in Raleigh, and Geer Street Learning Garden in Durham.

Community Health Education

Be a part of the hunger solution by helping adults and children learn about healthy eating on a limited budget through Community Health Education.

Hunger Relief

Join hands-on hunger relief efforts to help children, families, and seniors through BackPack Buddies, School Pantries, Grocery Bags for Seniors and more.

Food Recovery and Distribution

Whether it’s assisting drivers, inspecting eggs, sorting food donations, or helping in other ways, Food Recovery and Distribution volunteers make a big difference in the fight against hunger!

Administration

Welcome visitors to the Food Shuttle, assist callers with hunger relief services, and help with other day-to-day office tasks as a Front Desk Administrative Assistant.

Agriculture Education

Share your love of learning and all things horticultural as part of our Agriculture Education programs for children and adults.

Coronavirus safety

The Inter-Faith Food Shuttle COVID policy aligns with governmental standards as of August 15, 2022 which do not require vaccination proof and testing, masking, or daily wellness screenings. 

 As always, everyone should monitor their personal health. If you experience symptoms related to any contagious illness, we ask that you stay at home. All are highly encouraged to continue to make mask wearing choices that are best suited to their individual circumstances and should feel empowered to wear masks if you are more comfortable doing so.
