The Food Shuttle Farm Stand is Open and Business is Blooming!

Spring has sprung and the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle Farm Stand is open for business! We celebrated the official opening of the Farm Stand on Wednesday, April 20th and are excited to invite you to come visit.

The Farm Stand sells chemical-free produce and pasture-raised eggs that were grown  on the Food Shuttle Farm, located on Tryon Road in Raleigh. All proceeds from Farm Stand sales go right back into Food Shuttle programming to create a hunger free community in central North Carolina. We are currently selling lettuce, bunching onions, Swiss chard, strawberries, and adding more produce each week. In preparation of summer gardening, we are also holding a Plant Sale. We have bedding plants such as kale, Swiss chard, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, herbs, flowers, and more!

Customers can now make purchases using their smart phone. A QR code is posted at the Farm, which you can scan, and it will take you to a menu where you can select items that you wish to buy with a card or cash app. Cash and checks are also accepted. So now it’s even easier to buy responsibly- and locally-grown, farm-fresh produce, while supporting programs to end hunger in your community.

The Food Shuttle Farm Stand is located at 2300 Dover Farm Road in Raleigh and is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 3pm. If you have questions, feel free to contact Janny Chappell at Janny@FoodShuttle.org. We look forward to seeing you soon!
