Arby's Foundation Invests in a Hunger-Free Future

Arby’s Foundation is committed to providing kids with the food necessary to fuel their dreams. With a spirit of serving children at risk of hunger, Arby’s Foundation made a generous investment in Inter-Faith Food Shuttle’s Child Nutrition and Youth Agriculture Education programs. This donation includes $21,850 to support Childhood Hunger Programs like BackPack Buddies and Pantry Supplement Boxes for critically food insecure K-12 children and families. An additional $7,500 provides Youth Agriculture Education school partners with digital learning, Grow Kit supplies, and education materials for teachers to send home with students.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, one in four children in this country may be facing hunger. As millions of Americans move ahead, struggling to provide nourishing meals for their families, the generosity of Arby’s Foundation is crucial for ensuring children continue to grow up healthy and hunger-free.

“Arby’s partnership and support in the Food Shuttle’s vision and direction ensures that every child seeking assistance can receive the nourishing meals they need,” says Food Shuttle President and CEO Ron Pringle. “Thank you for helping pave the road to a healthier tomorrow for children across central North Carolina.”

Arby’s investment in the Food Shuttle is one of the many ways that the corporation is helping kids dream big. Arby’s has invested over $100 million dollars in youth-related causes and consistently partners with local and national hunger relief organizations like No Kid Hungry. Arby’s also founded the nationally recognized School’s Out, Food’s In summer meal card program to ensure children have nourishing meals year round.
