First Horizon Foundation Makes Timely $25,000 Grant to Inter-Faith Food Shuttle

First Horizon Foundation has made a generous and timely donation of $25,000 to Inter-Faith Food Shuttle. This grant will enable the Food Shuttle to continue developing alternative ways to feed families, children and seniors in light of the current situation unfolding due to COVID-19. In addition, the funds will be put to use in programming to provide emergency meals to those affected by school and business closures. The organization has realized an increase in requests for services and anticipates that this increase will only magnify in the weeks to come. Support such as the donation from First Horizon Foundation will be instrumental in efforts to meet the needs of those who turn to Inter-Faith Food Shuttle during this critical time.

First Horizon Bank Triangle Market President, Laura Bunn, knew that Inter-Faith Food Shuttle would deploy these dollars for so many in need in our community.  She shared, “I’ve had too many discussions with people concerned about children in our community who are food insecure and impacted by school closure. I’m proud of our company of stepping in to help.”
