This crucial funding will support our BackPack Buddies program and School Choice Pantries, which are essential in providing food to students and their families beyond school hours. 245,000+ Meals: Through BackPack Buddies, we aim to provide over 245,000 meals to 2,600 children. This program ensures that children have access to food on weekends and during school breaks because hunger doesn’t take a break.
230,000 Pounds of Food: Our School Choice Pantries will distribute 230,000 pounds of food to 6,500 households. These pantries offer families the flexibility to select the food that best meets their needs, promoting dignity and choice.
