Last Thursday, BJ's Membership Club held a BackPack Buddies drive at the Garner location to provide 500 BackPacks for kids in our community who go hungry on the weekends. The BackPacks provide kids with 6 healthy meals and 2 snacks every weekend during the school year. Cortina King, General Manager of Garner's BJ's Membership Club, shared with us the importance of BackPack Buddies in the community:
